Aloha! I’m Ikaika, a wedding and elopement photographer located in beautiful Hanalei. My goal is to capture beautiful moments of adventure, romance, and companionship, and I would be honored to be your photographer for your upcoming ceremony.

I began shooting professionally in 2014 when I was living in San Diego. After several years working in the fashion, surf, and golf industries, I transitioned to wedding and portrait photography in 2017 simply because that’s what my heart said to do: capture authentic moments with wonderful individuals in amazing locations.

Just like the couples I have had the pleasure of working with in the past, no two events have ever been the same. Weather, lighting, and ocean conditions will vary day by day, and my work shows how I can capture an event in any conditions in a unique and special way. I strive for authenticity in my work, so by utilizing natural light and candid set-ups my photography orchestrates the love and the environment seamlessly into one beautiful composition.

• How many photos would I get in my gallery?

I deliver every good photo taken (eyes are open, facial expressions are natural, etc.) during our time together, so the exact amount ranges but is usually around 40-60 images per hour of shooting.

• What is your turnaround time for photos?

12-15 business days

.My approach to wedding photography is simple: natural moments in natural light. I guide couples as much or as little as they want, focusing on authentic, unfiltered beauty instead of artificial lighting or trendy edits.

During our session, I make the most of our time—capturing everything from sweeping landscapes to intimate details, posed portraits to candid moments. With Kauai’s stunning backdrops, there’s no need for heavy filters—just you, your love, and nature at its best.

Before shooting weddings, I spent years as a commercial photographer in California, where I honed my editing speed and efficiency. That means you won’t be waiting months for your photos—I deliver high-quality images fast, without cutting corners.
